In the state of Connecticut, you must be 18 years old to apply for a medical marijuana card. Minors in Connecticut with qualifying medical conditions can apply for a medical marijuana card by scheduling appointments with two physicians, completing the patient and caregiver registration processes online, and awaiting DCP approval; for details, visit Connecticut DCP.

Depending on your paperwork and how you applied, the processing time can vary. It can sometimes take as little as 2 to 3 days, but in some cases, it may take 2 to 3 weeks. The state is required to mention up to 30 days, but rest assured, we'll work diligently to help you get your card as quickly as possible once approved. Once approved, your card is emailed right to you.

You must renew your medical marijuana card each year. We recommend renewing approximately 3 weeks before your expiration date to ensure uninterrupted access to your medication. We help you stay in compliance and can notify you when it's time to renew.
